Our Story
Wickett Group was founded in Sydney in 2005 by Nick Wickett, beginning with a single renovation in Bellevue Hill. Over the years, the business has continued to grow through word of mouth, long-standing relationships and a commitment to quality. Our experience has expanded across residential renovations, office and shop fit-outs, commercial construction and property developments, giving us a broad understanding of the building industry. Today, Wickett Group specialises in residential construction, bringing that depth of experience to carefully selected projects across Sydney. We've never chased volume. Instead, we take on a carefully selected number of projects each year, allowing us to give every client the time, care and attention they deserve. Nick, Skye and Kyle are personally involved in every project — not just at the beginning, but throughout the entire build. We believe that being hands-on creates better communication, better workmanship and, ultimately, better results. Our approach is simple: we build every job as though it's an award-winning project. From the planning and preparation through to the smallest finishing detail, we hold ourselves to a high standard and take genuine pride in the work we deliver. We don't believe in cutting corners or settling for good enough — every project deserves our best. As the business has grown, so has the skill and experience within the team. Skye joined the business after completing his Certificate IV in Building and Construction and Diploma of Building and Construction, bringing further building knowledge and experience to the team. Kyle has completed his Certificate III in Carpentry, adding strong carpentry skills and hands-on construction experience. Alongside a trusted core group of tradespeople we've worked with for many years, we've built a team that shares the same values: quality workmanship, attention to detail and pride in what we do. We're proud of the culture we've created at Wickett Group — one where quality is non-negotiable, communication matters, and every client is treated like a neighbour.
